- Research the Twisted — many toons require reaching 100% Research on their Twisted version first — encounter that Twisted in runs to fill the research bar.
- Complete masteries — rare and main toons often need specific mastery quests done on other toons before they unlock for purchase.
- Event unlocks — event toons appear during seasonal events with their own unlock tasks — miss the window and you'll wait for a rerun.
