• Boxten — Free starter pick, or 250 Ichor if you chose Poppy. Passive Wind-Up gives up to +6% Extraction Speed per living teammate, capping at +48%.
• Poppy — Free starter pick, or 250 Ichor if you chose Boxten. Passive Panic Pop gives +50% Speed for 3 seconds when attacked.

🧸 Regular toons (21)

Bought with Ichor, most behind a Research or Mastery requirement. Prices below are the Ichor cost plus what you must unlock first.

• Shrimpo — 100 Ichor — The cheapest toon in the game. Passive Bully gives him drastically lower Stealth than anyone else, making him the hardest pick to survive with.
• Toodles — 350 Ichor — Also needs 15 Floors survived. Active rolls a random stat +15% for 10 seconds, 25s cooldown.
• Finn — 500 Ichor — Also needs 15 Machines finished. Passive Reel In gives +35% Movement Speed for 10 seconds whenever any Machine completes.
• Tisha — 500 Ichor — Active pulses +25% Movement Speed to nearby toons for 5 seconds and clears Ichor puddles in range, 50s cooldown.
• Cosmo — 1,000 Ichor — Also needs 4 or more toons owned. Active gives one of his own Hearts to heal a teammate, 60s cooldown.
• Looey — 1,000 Ichor — Also needs all Mastery Quests on Poppy. Passive Heart of Helium makes him faster the fewer Hearts he has, up to +40% at one Heart.
• Rodger — 1,000 Ichor — Also needs 50% Research on any Twisted. Passive Detective doubles Research earned from Capsules and Twisted encounters.
• Brightney — 1,250 Ichor — Also needs 5 Blackouts experienced. Active lights up Twisteds so they stay visible during Blackouts for 8 seconds, 45s cooldown.
• Brusha — 1,250 Ichor — Also needs 25% Research on Twisted Brusha. Active paints nearby machines, giving extractors +25% Extraction Speed and +15% Skill Check chance, 15s cooldown.
• Teagan — 1,250 Ichor — Also needs 25 items bought from the Elevator Shop. Active spends 75 Tapes to heal herself one Heart, 100s cooldown.
• Scraps — 1,500 Ichor — Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Goob. Active pulls herself toward a targeted toon or machine with line of sight, 25s cooldown.
• Goob — 1,750 Ichor — Also needs 3 Mastery Quests on Scraps. Active pulls another toon toward him with line of sight, 30s cooldown.
• Connie — 2,000 Ichor — Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Connie. Active turns her invisible to Twisteds for 5 seconds, except one she faces directly, 50s cooldown.
• Gigi — 2,000 Ichor — Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Gigi and 45 Rare-or-higher items picked up. Active Surprise! grants her a random item of any tier including shop items, 80s cooldown.
• Razzle & Dazzle — 2,000 Ichor — Passive Comedy/Tragedy grants bonus Movement Speed on odd floors and bonus Extraction Speed on even floors.
• Yatta — 2,000 Ichor — Also needs 15 or more toons owned and 50% Research on Twisted Yatta. Passive Pinata Party drops 2 candy items on machine completion, 4 when injured.
• Glisten — 2,500 Ichor — Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Glisten and 300 Machines finished. Active mirror-teleports him to a targeted toon regardless of line of sight, 100s cooldown.
• Blot — 3,000 Ichor — Also needs all Mastery Quests on Looey and Yatta. Active drops a one-Heart decoy that costs Tapes and lures Twisteds, 60s cooldown.
• Squirm — 3,000 Ichor — Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Squirm and 3 or more Titles. Active eats books for +100% Extraction Speed for 10 seconds, and the cooldown halves near bookshelves, 80s cooldown.
• Waxwell — 3,500 Ichor — The newest toon, added 7 August 2026. Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Waxwell and 3 Mastery Quests on Goob. Active ignites him, clearing his own Tired II debuff for 10 seconds and leaving a flame trail that halves teammates ability cooldowns for 5 seconds, 60s cooldown.
• Flutter — 1,300 Ichor — Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Flutter. Active is a forward speed-dash lasting 0.75 seconds, 45s cooldown.

⭐ Main characters (8)

The priciest unlocks — each has both an Active and a Passive ability. Three of them double as returning event toons.

• Astro — 5,000 Ichor — The single most expensive unlock in the game. Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Astro and an encounter with Twisted Dandy. Active fully restores nearby toons Stamina, 60s cooldown; Passive Well Rested speeds his own Stamina regen and shows low-Stamina teammates.
• Sprout — 4,500 Ichor — Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Sprout and all Mastery Quests on Cosmo. Active heals a teammate one Heart for 100 Tapes and scales with extra Sprouts, 100s cooldown; Passive Overprotective shows every living toon location and health.
• Vee — 4,500 Ichor — Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Vee and all Mastery Quests on Brightney. Active highlights all Twisteds and Machines on the floor for 5 seconds, 50s cooldown; Passive Camera Hijack highlights the two nearest uncompleted Machines.
• Shelly — 4,250 Ichor — Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Shelly and all Mastery Quests on Tisha. Active gives a chosen toon +75% Extraction Speed for 15 seconds, 60s cooldown; Passive Problem Solver gives +25% Movement Speed for 10 seconds after any Machine completes.
• Pebble — 3,750 Ichor — Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Pebble and all Mastery Quests on Toodles. Active barks to drop his Stealth to -40 and lure Twisteds to himself, 60s cooldown; Passive Fetch! highlights nearby items.
• Bassie — 3,000 Baskets + 2,500 Ichor — Easter event toon. Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Bassie. Active shares inventory items with teammates; Passive Easter Basket adds one inventory slot.
• Bobette — 3,000 Ornaments + 2,500 Ichor — Christmas event toon. Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Bobette. Active Precious Packaging makes her invincible but immobile in a gift box for 8 seconds, 90s cooldown; Passive Festive Aura gives nearby teammates +50% Stamina regen and +25% speed for 5 seconds.
• Gourdy — 3,000 Pumpkins + 2,500 Ichor — Halloween event toon. Also needs 100% Research on Twisted Gourdy. Active applies a random +20% stat boost to everyone in range for 15 seconds, 35s cooldown; Passive Sugar Rush gives everyone +20% speed for 5 seconds when the Elevator opens or Panic Mode starts.

🎃 Event toons (9)

Bought with seasonal currency only while that event is live — they come back each year, so a missed one is not gone forever.

• Eggson — 300 Baskets — Easter. The cheapest event unlock. Passive Fixer Upper makes his first touch on any machine instantly grant 20% completion.
• Flyte — 700 Baskets — Easter. Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Flyte. Active drops a Gust zone giving +15% Movement Speed for 3 seconds to anyone entering, 50s cooldown.
• Cocoa — 1,500 Baskets — Easter. Also needs 100% Research across 5 Twisteds. Active drops a Bonbon giving whoever grabs it +50% Extraction and +25% Movement Speed for 10 seconds, 40s cooldown.
• Ribecca — 300 Pumpkins — Halloween. The cheapest event unlock. Passive The Undead makes her immune to all applied debuffs, except trinket-based ones.
• Soulvester — 700 Pumpkins — Halloween. Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Soulvester. Passive Knightly Armor grants an extra Heart and immunity to ranged-attack damage.
• Eclipse — 1,500 Pumpkins — Halloween. Also needs 5 or more toons owned. Passive Total Eclipse turns him into a glowing werewolf during Blackouts with bonus Stamina and +20% Movement Speed.
• Rudie — 300 Ornaments — Christmas. The cheapest event unlock. Active is an antler charge-forward burst to escape danger.
• Ginger — 700 Ornaments — Christmas. Also needs 50% Research on Twisted Ginger. Active heals a teammate to full Hearts for 100 Tapes, with cost and cooldown rising per extra Ginger, 100s cooldown.
• Coal — 1,500 Ornaments — Christmas. Also needs 15 or more Trinkets owned. Active highlights every item on the map for all toons for 10 seconds, 30s cooldown.

🔒 Developer-only toons (2)

Listed on the wiki as Lethal — that is the game label for developer-only, not a power tier. Players cannot unlock these.

• Dandy — Playable by developers only. The facility host and mascot; no functional player ability is documented.
• Dyle — Playable by developers only. Dandy counterpart and co-host; no functional player ability is documented.

🗝️ How to unlock toons

• Buy with Ichor — most toons are bought in Dandy's Store — earn Ichor by surviving floors and completing runs (or grab the free ICHOR code on our codes page).
• Research the Twisted — many toons require reaching 100% Research on their Twisted version first — encounter that Twisted in runs to fill the research bar.
• Complete masteries — rare and main toons often need specific mastery quests done on other toons before they unlock for purchase.
• Event unlocks — event toons appear during seasonal events with their own unlock tasks — miss the window and you'll wait for a rerun.
