Reflects the meta after Update 0.5 'Villain Invasion' (25 July 2026), which added Dark Mage (Sovereign), Crow (Black Fire), Cursed Immortal (Black Sun) and RazorJaw (Hunter). Dark Mage jumped straight to the top on its dual-element Ice-slow plus Lightning-burst field damage, which works on any map. Important caveat: the game only launched on 17 July, so this meta is days old and placements are unusually volatile. Two units are genuinely contested — Toy Maker is S-tier with the Unbound trait but closer to B without it, and Cursed Immortal's clone mechanic only pays off on the right map. Treat this as a guide, not gospel.
